Author and developer, Dr. Sonja Kvale, PhD Pastoral Clinical Counselor is a licensed professional counselor from Bella Vista, AR. She has written, "Finding Hope, a Story of Neglect and Abuse with a Challenge for Caregivers" and The Mirror Images program. She is the executive director of sKKs, Inc. the non-profit corporation which financially undergirds the Mirror Images ministry. She presently is associated with Hilltop Seminary and Bible College, Fergus Falls, MN, and The College at the Crossings, Bella Vista, AR.
Karen Schoewe grew up in Illinois and earned her BFA at Northern Illinois University. Karen is Co-founder and President of sKKs, Inc. Karen was trained as a Certified Hope Alive Counselor at Mt. Joy College in Victoria, BC, Canada. She has been leading group sessions since 2008.
Dale Kvale, MS, BS, has training in School Counseling and as a Hope Alive Counselor. He is a retired high school teacher of mathematics, media and golf coaching. Dale is a valuable asset in the staffing of Mirror Images Retreats for both men and women. Dale, who is Sonja's husband, works with her during the retreat sessions. They have two married children and eight living grandchildren.
Neil Charpentier has a BA in accounting from The University of St Thomas. He was CEO of Transport Clearings, a national finance company for 20 years. He has done financial consulting and is currently involved with ICCO, supporting Chinese orphans and Mercy Smiles orphanage work in India. He has extensive world travel. Neil and Mary have 5 adopted children.
Mary Charpentier graduated with a B.A. in social work from St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, MN, and also has a degree from Vision Bible College. Mary has traveled to twelve countries with the gospel of Jesus Christ, emphasizing evangelism, and orphanage ministry in India. Mary has also served on serveral ministries as prayer coordinator. She and her husband have been married over forty years. Mary and Neil have five children, two foster daughters, and nineteen grandchildren.
Ray Linebaugh has been serving the Lord in various locations and capacities: Disabled Veteran contacts; Prison evangelism; drama ministry; Celebrate Recovery leadership; Mirror Image program facilitator. Ray is married with children and grandchildren. Ray is located in Colorado.
